I love this course. The north course is absolutely beautiful to play on! The staff is super friendly too. They have a nice driving range and a really nice putting green, there’s also a chipping green. The clubhouse has good food and if you’re out as the sun is setting you might just see some deer out there too.
Great course tucked in OKC’s northwest side. Nice water features, lots of hills, beautifully designed. Nice guys in the pro shop helped make my check in from an online reservation very easy, will be back.

Our marketing group had lunch here. The grill also serves breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lunches were good.
I recently had the opportunity to play at their South Course which left me feeling rather dissatisfied. It was evident from the moment I arrived that the course was in a state of neglect and disrepair despite being closed for 2 years. Not only that every par 3 you had to hit off of a mat because the tee boxes are so bad. There were also lots of a patches of dirt and dead grass in the fairway. The Greens weren’t that bad. While I appreciate the challenges that maintaining a golf course presents, the poor condition of this particular course was difficult to overlook. The food was really good at the clubhouse though.
Played yesterday, 12/29, and conditions were as expected for this time of the year. Unfortunately, one fivesome was playing slowly enough to hold up at least 6 groups behind them with multiple holes open in front. Can't fault the marshals, though, because the Director won't let them enforce any reasonable pace of play guidelines.
Excellent facilities. Two great courses, excellent short game practice areas. Driving range is about what you'd expect given the usage rate. The only negative is that they refuse to enforce any type of reasonable pace of play.
Cart Marshall’s are jerks.
I convince 5 people who never golf here to come here. I bring them $300 worth of business on a very cold and slow day, but since I didn’t bring them $400 worth of business they wouldn’t let us play together. Keep in mind we were scrambling and there were so many open tee times is was laughable. My mistake, I won’t bring my $300 of business here again.
Frost delay system makes no sense if you have a tee time during frost delay you get counted as a walk on instead of just delaying everybody a few minutes you just have to sit and wait with no concept of when you can play
Have played at Hefner for 60 years ihave never seen it in such bad shape the south was closed over a year and they wait until now to resod the new carts are not senior friendly
